Watch the moose live during their yearly migration ‘den stora älgvandringen’

This year the Swedish broadcaster SVT broadcasts the annual migration of the moose on television. This so-called ‘slow television’ is a true trend in Scandinavia. Watch the moose travel through the vast forests and pull many lakes towards their summer destination. The Swedes call this ‘Den stora älgvandringen’, the great Moose walk.

For thousands of years, the moose have been migrating from coastal areas to mountains in the spring. They always use the same paths for this. This year the SVT placed cameras along these routes and they broadcast this 24 hours a day. They are now on day 12 of this slow TV, and it is addictive even though not much is happening. Do you want to watch too? That is possible here.
